Jana holds a Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Behavioral Psychology
She has spent more than 30 years consulting in family homes, schools, group homes for developmentally delayed adults, Head Start classrooms, and a long-term facility for victims of closed head injury. She has trained teachers, teacher’s aides, foster and adoptive parents, group home staff and day care providers in simple, effective behavioral intervention techniques.
She was also a single parent to her two children that she had in foster care and later adopted. At home she dealt with Autism, ADD, ADHA, ODD and many behavioral issues.
She brings a unique understanding of parenting children with behavioral challenges at home, and working with the school and other systems to do what is best for a child and an entire family.
Her goal is to help adults raise children to be positive, productive adults.
